瞬目反応を指標とする他覚的嗅覚検査

OSMATIC TEST WITH OPTICO-WINKING AS AN OBJECTlVE RESPONSE

　Ⅰ．緒言

　自発瞬目を他覚的検査に応用したものとしては耳鼻科領域においては近来特に発達した他覚的聴力検査法の一法として種々の報告がなされているが嗅覚検査に関するものはわずかに平原，太田の報告が見られるにすぎない。われわれは従来より他覚的嗅覚検査について一連の研究を行なつており，すでに脳波，GSR, CGSRなどによる方法を発表してきたが，今回は瞬目反応の応用による嗅覚検査について特に基本的方面から嗅刺激と瞬目との関係について検討し，さらに実際の嗅覚検査における応用価値の検討とを行なつたので報告する。

　Authors performed experiments using osmatic stimulations and recording the responses made by optico-winking reflexes. There were two types of reaction, fast (34%) and slow (66%). The response with ocular reflex more readily with shorter stimulation time and with the use of pleasant sense of smell rather than the unpleasant. From various data obtained the authors state that the proce dure is suitable for objective test of the sense of smell.
