耳鼻咽喉科領域における全身麻酔剤と局所止血剤（とくにアドレナリン）について

THE USE OF HEMOSTATIC AGENT, PARTICULARY ADRENALIN, DURING ADMINISTRATION OF GENERAL ANESTHESIA

　Ⅰ．まえがき

　数年前までは，全身麻酔剤にはエーテルが主として用いられて来たが，最近の傾向としてフローセンがそれに変つて来た。

　しかし，フローセン麻酔でしばしば問題とされるのは，アドレナリンとの併用の可否についてであるが，禁忌とする者も少なくない。

　Selection of hemostatic agent to be used under general anesthesia was made by testing Adrenalin, Octapressin and Araminon. The hemostatic acitivity appeared to be the strongest in Adrenalin and it was followed in the order of Octapressin and Araminon.

　Adrenalin, however, is regarded as undesirable under Fluothane anesthesia. Yet, if Inderal is employed to prevent the onset of irregular pulse a considerable amount of Adrenaline may used here without any adverse effect. In this sense Inderal should be regarded with much importance.
