上顎洞粘膜内遊離骨片の症例

A FREELY FLOATING BONE IN THE MUCOUS MEMBRANE OF THE MAXILLARY SINUS

　Ⅰ．緒言

　上顎洞乃至は該粘膜内に遊離された骨片を観察した報告は古くから多くの先人諸家によりなされている。その成因については，Zuckerkandl，Killian，Eggston等の説があるが一般に粘膜の慢性炎症のために惹起したものとして説明されてきた。その後この問題について後藤（敏）教授（1953）はPn. lehreに立脚して，これを上顎洞の含気化異常による隔壁原基の粘膜上皮下遺存により由来されると解説を加えられた。

　最近，私は副鼻腔炎手術の際，上顎洞粘膜内に遊離骨片を認めた症例に遭遇した。その成因について病理組織学的立場より考按したので報告する。

　A case of maxilfary sinusitis containing a piece of free bone is reported. The piece of bone was found to be attached to the medial wall of the sinus mucous membrane but, not to the underlying bony wall of the cavity. As to the origin of such a bony separation many authors such as Zukerkandl, Killian, Eggston, and others consider it the result of chronic inflammation of the mucous membrane. However, Goto in this country maintain this abnormality as due to embryonic process paused during the period of sinus pneumatization.
