中耳顎口虫症の1例

A CASE OF PARASITIC OTITIS MEDIA

　Ⅰ．緒言

　顎口虫症は顎口虫の寄生する淡水魚等（特に雷魚があげられている）を生食し，そのなかに寄生した顎口虫の仔虫が食道，胃，腸壁，肝臓，横隔膜などを穿通して，胸腹壁，上肢，顔面等の皮下に腫瘤を発生し，その腫瘤が全身を動く仔虫により転々移動するという1種の奇病である。

　この仔虫が，たまたま中耳腔に侵入して中耳炎を起こした後，外耳道に移動し，顎口虫仔虫が外耳道前壁の皮膚を破つて逸出した珍らしい例を得たので報告する。

A case of parasitic otitis media is repor-ted. The patient was of fected with parasitic infestation 5 years ago, 4 years after he had eaten the raw-meat of channa-maculata, vari-ously known as china fish, snake head mullet or raigyo, a fresh-water fish. A small swelling appearover the abdomen from which an embr-yo of the worm was extracted. One year after this incident another swelling appeared over the knee-joint. With the present affection the embryo of the parasite apparently made entrance into the Eustachian tube and on into the middle ear cavity.
