喉頭Adenocystic Carcinomaの1症例

　I．緒言

　喉頭癌の殆んどは扁平上皮癌であり，腺癌は稀である。本稿においては，輪状軟骨後部のAdenocystic Carcinomaを報告する。このAdenocystic Carcinoma（Cylindroma）は，唾液腺，気管，気管支には，比較的多くみられるが，喉頭においては極めて少なく，著者等の参照した本邦の耳鼻咽喉科領域の戦後の文献では報告をみない。外国でも，たとえば，Salvador（1956）によると，1956年迄の報告例は4例にすぎないと述べている。又従来，Cylindromaと呼ばれた当時其の性質は，Semimalignitätのものとされ，その悪性度について，多数の論文で議論されているものである。以上の意味より，ここに我々の経験した症例に多少の文献的考察を加えて発表し，読者諸彦の参考に資することができればと報告する次第である。

　A woman, aged 38, complained of pain and difficulty in swallowing. A large tumor the size of a dove's egg was found in region posteriorly to the cricoid cartilage. X-ray of the chest showed numeous dark spots. The tumor was found to be a cylindroma (adenocystic carcinoma) through a biopsy specimen. Irradiation of the tumor was conducted with 137 Cs and mametomycin was administered intravenously. No changes were noticeable in the X-ray picture of the chest but a marked decrease occurred in the size of the tumor.
