Adenosquamous Carcinoma of the Larynx:Report of a Case

　はじめに

　喉頭癌の病理組織型はそのほとんどが扁平上皮癌であり，腺癌系の発生頻度は極めて低い。今回われわれは，扁平上皮癌と腺癌の両者の特徴をあわせもった，いわゆる腺扁平上皮癌と診断し得た，非常に稀な症例を経験したので若干の文献的考察を加え報告する。

A 72-year-old man presented with laryngeal adenosquamous carcinoma of the left vocal fold. The tumor, less than 1cm in it's size, had no exten-tion to the ventricle nor the subglottis. Both vocal folds were well mobile and no neck node was pal-pable.

Laryngomicrosurgery was carried out under gen-eral anesthesia and the tumor was excised as much as possible. Irradiation therapy of 63 Gy was perfor-med, and the patient has been free from the disease for nearly 5 years.
