興味深き対照性上顎洞内結石症の1例

　I．緒言

　元来固有鼻腔内結石症はその報告例も相当数見受けられ余り珍しいものではない。

　然し乍ら副鼻洞内の結石症は極めて少なくその症例の多くのものが外傷性に起因しているのを見受ける。本症例は初診時副鼻洞内の悪性腫瘍と診断され手術時に発見されたもので両側上顎洞内に発生した結石症の一例である。本症例に見る結石は左側に発生したものに比べ右側に見るもの遙かに大きく何れも外傷性に起因するものでなく自然的に発生したと思われる臨床医家には興味深いものと考えその経過を報告して参考に供せんとするものである。

Lithiasis of maxillary sinus is reported. Malignancy of the maxillary sinus with bi-lateral involvements was suspected in a young woman, aged 17, and operated. The operation revealed a sinus stone the size of a large hen's egg on one side and two simi-lar stones slightly smaller on the other. The character of the stones on either side was identically the same in their color, con-sistency and constitution.
