鼻出血の統計的観察並びに女性ホルモン使用経験

　I．緒言

　鼻出血の原因は鼻疾患に依るものと，全身的疾患に依るものと，原因不明に依るものとに大別され，一方治療面に於いても原因疾患の治療と共に止血剤貼用，クローム酸腐蝕並びに止血剤の注射並びに内服を行う他，輸血，リンゲル氏液等の注射が行われている。我々は過去3ヵ年間の鼻出血患者に就いて統計的観察を行うと共に，各種の止血剤を使用しても余り止血の効果なく，反復出血する主として青年期年齢の特発性鼻出血患者にオバホルモンを使用した所，それ等の患者に有効と思われたので報告する。

Statistical observation on 78 cases of epis-taxis are made. Majority of cases were found in the age group 16 to 25 and in 90.7 % of cases the bleeding occurred from the Kiesslbach's area of the nasal septum. Va-rious hemstatic agents were employed but, best results were obtained when 2 varieties of these agents were put to combined usage. With a singular usage adona appeared to be the most affective. The use of ovarian hor-mone, ovahormone, in young individuals appeard to be surprisingly effective in at-taining hemostasis.
