上顎洞内結石の2症例

ANTROLITHIASIS, REPORT OF TWO CASES

　I．はじめに

　耳鼻咽喉科領域における結石症は少ないとされているが，鼻腔内結石に関する症例の報告は比較的多く，Thomsonによると既に300例以上を数える（Polisar^22）より引用）。しかし副鼻腔結石症の報告は意外に少ない。われわれの調査したところでは，現在までに上顎洞結石症の報告は41例，篩骨蜂巣結石症のそれは1例のみである^30）。

　われわれは東大耳鼻咽喉科外来において，過去4年間に上顎洞内結石を2症例経験し，手術的に治癒せしめたので，その概要を報告し，あわせて文献的考察を行なつた。

　Two cases of antrolithiasis are reported.

　In the first case, operation revealed an irregular shaped greenish-grey calcified mass in the right maxillary sinus of a woman, aged 55. It measured 1.3×1.0×0.8 cm and weighed 1.4g.

　In the second case, an antrolith was discovered in the left maxillary antrum of a man, aged 43. The mass was stony hard in texture with irregular and pitted greenish brown surface that measured 1.6×1.2×0.8 cm and wieghed 1.0g.

　Both sinuses were found to be involved with chronic sinusitis.
