Ohno reports two cases of laryngeal paralysis, The first of which is a woman, 24 years of age, who is affected with paralysis of the ninth, ten-th and eleventh cranial nerves, to which paral-ysis of the seventh nerved is later manifested. The second is in a man 47 years of age, who presented signs of paralysis from the third to eleventh cranial nerves inclusively. Both cases are cured by intrathecal administration of vita-min B1 and C admixtures. However, recovery in the innervations of laryngeal musculatures is much delayed in comparison to the relative ease with which other nerves had taken place. Abno-rmally long delay is seen in the second case. No etiological factor is discernable in these two cases, excepting that both patients were exposed to severely cold temperature previous to the on-set of th affliction.
