甲状腺癌腎転移

A Case of Thyroid Cancer Metastasizing to the Left Kidney

　症例は68歳，女性。27年前，甲状腺癌にて甲状腺亜全摘除術を施行。経過観察中，腹部CTにて径3.5cmの左腎腫瘍を指摘された。左腎摘出術を施行し，病理検索により濾胞状甲状腺癌腎転移の診断を得た。過去に，転移性腫瘍に対して左骨盤半切除術，両側肺部分切除術が行われている。

A 68-year old woman was referred to our department because of a solitary left renal tumor of 3.5 cm in diameter. The tumor was found by CT during a follow up examination for the follicular thyroid cancer, which was treated 27 years before. She has a history of metastatic pubic bone tumor and bilateral pulmonary tumor from the thyroid cancer and received surgical treatments. She underwent radical ne-phrectomy and histological examination confirmed the tumor as the metastasis of the thyroid cancer.
