食道癌腎転移の1例

A Case of Metastatic Renal Tumor from Esophageal Carcinoma

　58歳，男性。1997年4月，食道癌に対し根治術を施行された。経過観察中の1998年7月，術後16か月目のCTにて右腎腫瘍を指摘された。全身状態良好で他の転移所見を認めなかったため右腎摘出術を施行した。病理診断の結果は扁平上皮癌で，食道癌の腎転移と診断された。生存中に診断され報告されたものとして，本例は本邦20例目であつた。

A 58-year-old man, who had been treated for esophageal carcinoma with radical surgery, was referred to our depart-ment for further examinations of a right renal mass pointed out by abdominal CT. Right nephrectomy was performed. Histological examination revealed squamous cell carcinoma, metastatic from the esophageal carcinoma. In autopsy, metastatic renal tumors from the esophagus are relatively common, but clinically, they are extremely uncommon. This is the 20th case in the Japanese literature.
