小児尿管ポリープの1例

A CASE OF URETERAL POLYP IN CHILDHOOD

　9歳，男子．左側腹部痛を主訴に来院．静脈性尿路造影・逆行性腎盂造影などの結果，左腎盂尿管移行部の尿管ポリープによる水腎症と診断し，腎盂形成術を施行した．小児尿管ポリープはこれまでに本邦ではわれわれの症例を含めて31例が報告されているが，明らかに男子の左腎盂尿管移行部に多く，先天性が示唆される．また，悪性例および再発例は1例もない．本症例を小児尿管ポリープの典型例として報告する．

A 9-year-old boy was admitted to our hospital with the chief complaint of left flank pain. The excretory urogram and retrograde pyelogram showed the left hydronephrosis due to ureteral polyp of ureteropelvic junction, and we performed pyeloplasty. A review of the literature revealed a total of 31 cases in Japan.

Because most of these cases were boy's ureteral polyp of left ureteropelvic junction, we believe the condition is congenital. No reported cases of malignancy or recurrence of these tumors have been found in the literature. We report this case as the typical case of ureteral polyp in childhood.
