トラニラスト服用中に併発した難治性膀胱炎症例

CHRONIC CYSTITIS IN SEVEN ASTHMATIC PATIENTS TREATED WITH TRANILAST

緒言

　トラニラスト（リザベン®）は気管支喘息治療薬として1982年より使用され，その発作予防への有効性のため，現在も広く投与されている。最近，副作用として膀胱炎症状が報告されており，われわれの経験した7例につきその臨床像を報告する。

7 cases of chronic cystitis probably due to side effect of Tranilast were presented. All patients had mild to severe asthma and were treated initially with Tranilast. The typical bladder symptoms were pollakisuria, severe pain on voidng and grosshematuria which were resistant to antibiotics therapy. Urinalysis showed aseptic hematopyuria and negative stain for tubercle bacillus. Cystoscopic examination demonstrated reduced bladder capacity, severe redness and edematous elevation of whole bladder mucosa with tendency to bleed easily.
