Cis-dichlorodiamineplatinumの選択的動脈内注入によるstage D前立腺癌の治療経験

TREATMENT OF STAGE D ADENOCARCINOMA OF PROSTATE WITH SELECTIVE INTRAARTERIAL INFUSION OF CIS-DICHLORODIAMINEPLATINUM

はじめに

　ヌードマウス可移植性ヒト前立腺癌に対するCis-dichlorodiamineplatinum（CDDP）の有効性は教室の由井^1）によつても指摘されている。一方，Merrin^2）は，女性ホルモン抵抗性stage D前立腺癌に対しCDDPを使用しすぐれた治療効果を得ている。われわれは女性ホルモン抵抗性stage D前立腺癌に対しCDDPの選択的動脈内注入療法が有効であつた1例を経験したのでここに報告する。

A 75-year-old man with estrogen-resistant stage D adenocarcinoma of prostate was treated with selective intraarterial infusion of cis-dichlorodiamineplatinum (CDDP), followed by intravenous infusion of CDDP. A 27 per cent decrease in the size of the primary lesion, accompanied with disappearance of dysuria, was observed and this remission lasted more than 4 months.

As a main side effect, significant renal toxicity was noted.

Our technique of the insertion of infusion catheter into internal iliac artery was presented.
