滑車神経麻痺をきたした上顎洞炎の1例

Maxillary Sinusitis Associated with Trochlear Nerve Palsy:A Case Report

　はじめに

　後部副鼻腔疾患により複視，視力障害などの眼窩内合併症をきたした症例報告は少なくない^1〜4）。

　今回，後部副鼻腔に病変を認めず，滑車神経麻痺をきたしたと思われる上顎洞炎例を治療する機会を得たので，経過を報告するとともに文献的検討も行った。

A 68-year-old male suddenly developed doublevision. The symptoms due to disturbance of the left trochlear nerve were manifested. CT scans revealed a mass of the left maxillary sinus. The operation was performed 2 weeks after the onset.

The trochlear nerve palsy was markedly recover-ed immediately after the operation. The pathologi-cal diagnosis of the mass was inflammatory tissue.
