呼吸困難を呈した上咽頭奇形腫の1症例

Teratoma of Nasopharynx in Infant:A Case Report

　はじめに

　奇形腫の発生部位は仙骨部，睾丸や卵巣，縦隔などが一般的で上咽頭に発生する奇形腫は少ない^1）。今回われわれは，1か月女児で呼吸困難のため，気管内挿管を施行された上咽頭奇形腫症例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加え報告する。

In a 1-month-old girl infant with a teratoma of the nasopharynx, intra-tracheal intubation was enforced because of dyspnea. The tumor had a diameter of approximately 4 cm and had a stalk connecting the tumor to the lateral wall of the nasopharynx. The tumor was removed under gene-ral anesthesia with little bleeding. The tumor was covered by skin with hair and contained adipose tissue. The tumor was considered to be dermoids in Ewing classification. The magnetic resonance imag-ing was useful in preoperative differential diagnosis.
