下咽頭癌肉腫の1例

A Case of Hypopharyngeal Carcinosarcoma

　はじめに

　下咽頭癌はほとんどが扁平上皮癌であり，下咽頭に発生する癌肉腫（「真性癌肉腫」と「いわゆる癌肉腫」を併せてここでは癌肉腫と称する）は非常に稀である。これまで国内報告例は12編，14例をみるにすぎない^1〜12）。最近われわれは，下咽頭に発生した癌肉腫の1例を経験したので症例を呈示し，本症例を含めた15例を臨床的側面から分析した。

A 62-year-old man complaining of abnormal sensation of the throat presented with a tumorous lesion in the left lateral wall of the hypopharynx at the level of the arytenoid.

The tumor was biopsied and diagnosed as car-cinosarcoma immunohistochemically. The tumor was resected and bilateral modified radical neck dissection was performed.

The tumor, however, recurred on the arytenoid which was controlled again surgically. The pateint was free from disease for one year after the last treatment.
