外傷性咽後血腫の1例

A Case of Traumatic Retropharyngeal Hematoma

　はじめに

　咽後血腫は血液疾患や血管疾患の合併症として生じるほか，頸部外傷や異物によっても生じる。本疾患は稀であり^1）治療法も保存的治療，外科的治療の両意見があるが対処が遅れると死亡する可能性もある。最近われわれは外傷性の咽後血腫の1例を経験したので若干の考察を加えて報告する。

A 67-year-old man received bruise on head and neck. Two days later, the patient suffered from a neck swelling accompanied by dyspnea and dysphagia. CT showed that the pharynx and larynx were displaced anteriorly by a retropharyngeal mass. Emergency tracheostomy was performed and the retropharyngeal hematoma was evacuated sur-gically with satisfactory results.
