当科における甲状腺腫瘍症例—臨床統計と術前診断の有用性

Thyroid Tumors—Clinical Study and Efficacy of Preoperative Diagnosis

　はじめに

　甲状腺腫瘍は重要な甲状腺疾患であり，近年甲状腺腫瘍手術症例の報告が増加している。この理由として種々の画像診断法や穿刺細胞診などの術前診断法が進歩し，術前に本疾患の部位的および質的診断がより正確に行われるようになったことがあげられる。われわれは当科にて最近約4年間に経験した甲状腺腫瘍手術症例について，その一般的臨床統計と術前診断法の有効性について検討したので報告する。

We analyzed thirty-eight cases of thyroid tumorstreated from 1990 to 1994 in our department andevaluated the efficacy of preoperative examina-tions. Although soft tissue radiography, radio-isotope scan, CT scan and fine needle aspirationbiopsy were shown to be respectively useful exami-nations in the present study, total evaluations ofthese findings are important for accurate preoper-ative diagnosis of thyroid tumors.
