転移性甲状腺癌の2症例

Metastatic Carcinoma to the Thyroid Gland:Two Cases Report

　はじめに

　転移性甲状腺癌は剖検により発見されることはあるが臨床症状を呈することは非常に稀とされている。今回われわれは，甲状腺腫脹をきたした転移性甲状腺癌の2症例を経験したので報告する。

The first case was a 71-year-old male who presented with an abnormal mass of the thyroid. Right pneumonectomy was performed for lung can-cer 3 months before. Although tracheostomy and open biopsy were performed, his progress was un-favorable. Histopathological examination con-firmed thyroid metastasis from lung cancer.

The second case was a 69-year-old male who presented with a nodular goiter in the bilateral thyroid lobes. He had a past history of right ne-phrectomy for a right renal tumor 9 years before. Subtotal thyroidectomy was performed and his-topathological examination revealed clear cell car-cinoma. He had a normal daily life after the last operation.
