S状静脈洞血栓症の1例

A Case of Lateral Sinus Thrombosis

　はじめに

　中耳炎では種々の合併症が起こり得ることが知られている。頭蓋内合併症としては，髄膜炎，硬膜炎・硬膜外膿瘍，脳膿瘍，S状静脈洞炎・血栓症などがあるが，抗生剤が普及した今日では稀である。

　今回われわれは，真珠腫性中耳炎が原因で横静脈洞，S状静脈洞および内頸静脈にかけての血栓症を合併したものの，強力な抗生剤の点滴加療により全身状態の改善を図った後中耳手術を行い，無事救命することができた症例を経験したので報告する。

A 49-year-old man with right lateral sinus and internal jugular vein thrombosis caused by choles-teatoma is reported.

General condition was poor due to high fever, but it was improved by antibiotic therapy. Thereafter, mastoidectomy was performed.

CT is the most helpful method for the diagnosis of thrombosis. However it must be noticed that the signs were changing gradually.
