副鼻腔血管平滑筋腫の1症例

Vascular Leiomyoma in the Paranasal Sinus:A Case Report

　はじめに

　血管平滑筋腫は，四肢に多く認められ，鼻副鼻腔領域に発生することは比較的まれである。今回われわれは，副鼻腔に発生した血管平滑筋腫の1例を経験したので若干の考察を加えて報告する。

In a 37-year-old patient complaining of recurrent nasal bleeding presented with a mass occupied the right frontal sinus and the anterior ethmoid cells in CT findings. He was treated with surgical resec-tion under general anesthesia. The size of removed tumor was 30×20×13 mm. Histopathological find-ings revealed vascular leiomyoma. On immunohisto-chemical examinations the tumor showed vimentin-positive and desmin-negative findings. Ultra-structual study disclosed massive vascular compo-nents and caveolar appearance, pinocytosis, junc-tional complex and fine fibrils in the tumor cells, suggestive of leiomyogenic origin.
