副睾丸平滑筋腫の1例

LEIOMYOMA OF THE EPIDIDYMIS

緒言

　副睾丸腫瘍は，良性，悪性ともにまれな疾患とされている。著者らは最近，良性腫瘍の平滑筋腫を前立腺肥大症の患者に経験したので報告する。

A cases of leiomyoma of the epididymis in a 73 year old male with benign prostatic hyperplasia was reported.

Tumor of the epididymis is considered to be a rare disease, but 96 cases of primary tumor of the epididymis were collected from the Japanese literature and 63 cases (65. 7%) of them were benign and 33 cases (34. 3%) were malignant. Among the benign tumors, the highest incidence was 36 cases (37. 5%) of adenomatoid tumor and 20 cases (20. 8%) of leiomyoma followed.
