口蓋扁桃および頸部リンパ節に初発したバーキットリンパ腫の1症例

A Case of Burkitt's Lymphoma Originated in the Palatine Tonsil and Cervical Lymph Node

　はじめに

　本邦におけるバーキットリンパ腫は大星ら^1）の報告以来，現在までに90数例の報告がある。このうち耳鼻咽喉科領域におけるものは大星ら^1）の1例をはじめとして50余例のものがある。今回筆者らは口蓋扁桃および頸部リンパ節に初発し，経過中に白血化をきたしたバーキットリンパ腫の1例を経験した。菊池ら^2）の報告によると口蓋扁桃あるいは頸部を初発とする割合は各々4.2％，5.3％といずれも低頻度となっており，今回筆者らが経験した1例は比較的稀な症例と思われたので報告する。

A 55-year-old man presented with a swelling of the right palatine tonsil and cervical lymph-adenopathy. Diagnosis of Burkitt's lymphoma was made based on the histological findings of the biopsy specimen. Leukemogenesis had occurred, and chemotherapy was performed resulting in complete remission. But the patient died of so called acute lysis syndrome one month after the remission. Autopsy was not performed.
