下顎骨歯原性粘液線維腫の1例

A Case of Odontogenic Myxofibroma of the Mandible

　はじめに

　Odontogenic myxofibroma （歯原性粘液線維腫）は主として下顎骨臼歯部に発生し，歯原性腫瘍の4〜7％を占める比較的稀な腫瘍である^1,2）。その由来には諸説があるが，線維腫が分化した病変あるいは粘液変性を起こした病変と考える説が有力である。

　今回われわれは左下顎骨臼歯部に発生した歯原性粘液線維腫に対し下顎骨区域切除術を施行し，腹直筋皮弁によって再建した1例を経験したので報告する。

A case of odontogenic myxofibroma of the left lower molar region is reported. CT showed an intra-bony solid tumor measured 8 cm in diameter. Seg-mental excision of the mandible was performed, and the rectus abdominis free flap was used alone for immediate reconstruction. The patient discharged 13 days after the operation. The lesion was his-tologically diagnosed as an odontogenic myxofib-roma. The patient was observed for 6 months after surgery, and no evidence of recurrence was detect-ed.
