上顎洞真珠腫の1例

CHOLESTEATOMA OF THE MAXILLARY SINUS, A CASE REPORT

　I．はじめに

　真珠腫は中耳の疾患であるという概念は，われわれ耳鼻科医にとつて一般的なものであり，中耳真珠腫の治療経験は，だれもが豊富に持つている。しかし，これが副鼻腔に存在するという症例は非常に稀有であり，また奇異にも思われる。今回私どもは，左上顎洞に発生した真珠腫の1例に遭遇し，手術する機会を得たので，諸賢のご批判を仰ぐべく，ここに報告した。

　A case of cholesteatoma of the maxillary sinus is reported.

　Upon operation the left maxillary sinus was found to be filled with cholesteatomatous material and mucous membrane thickening multilayered horny epithelium.

　The growth was completely removed and the patient is presently under observation.
