両側同時性顔面神経麻痺で発症したfacial diplegia and paresthesiasの1症例

A Case of Bilateral Facial Diplegia and Parethesias

I．はじめに

　一側性顔面神経麻痺は日常診療でしばしば経験する疾患であるが，両側同時性顔面神経麻痺は全顔面神経麻痺全体の約0.9％と非常に稀である^1）。

　今回われわれは，両側同時性顔面神経麻痺のみで初発したfacial diplegia and paresthesias症例を経験したので，文献的考察を加え報告する。

　A 38-year-old women presented with simultaneous bilateral facial palsy. Neurological examinations revealed bilateral facial palsy and bilateral parethesias only in fingers and toes. No other neurological deficit was observed. Nerve conduction studies revealed low amplitude only in sensory nerves. The diagnosis was facial diplegia and parethesias. Facial diplegia,sensory disturbance and low amplitude on sensory nerves studies recovered after 6 months.
