両側完全同時性ベル麻痺の1症例

A Case of Bilateral Complete Simultaneous Bell's Palsy

I．はじめに

　両側性顔面神経麻痺は，稀な疾患であるが，なかでも両側性同時性顔面神経麻痺は，非常に稀な疾患であると思われる。筆者らは，本邦において今だ明確な報告のない，両側性完全同時性ベル麻痺の1症例を経験したので，報告する。

　A 27-year-old man presented bilateral facial paralysis simultaneously occured following abnormal taste feeling. His illness was diagnosed as bilateral simultaneous Bell's palsy, because there was no evidence of systemic diseases. About 5 weeks after the onset he showed a complete and bilateral recovery by conservative treatments.

　Bilateral facial nerve paralysis is infrequent, and its completely simultaneous onset, such as this case, was thought to be extremely rare.
