逆生歯牙を核とする鼻石の1症例

A Case of Rhinolithiasis due to Abnormal Dental Eruption

I．はじめに

　鼻石症は日常臨床では比較的稀な疾患である。鼻石は鼻腔内にとどまった異物などが核となりその周囲に分泌物中のリン酸カルシウム，炭酸カルシウム，またはマグネシウムなどが沈着し形成されると考えられている^1）。

　今回われわれは，鼻腔内に逆生歯牙を核として鼻石を形成したと考えられる症例を経験したので，文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　A Case of rhinolithiasis due to abnormal dental eruption is reported,and previous literature is reviewed.

　A 39-year-old man complained of nasal obstruction. Rhinolith was found in the light nasal cavity,and it was thought to be due to abnormal dental eruption. The mass was easily removed piece by piece by intranasal approach under general anesthesia. It was large in size and weighed 4.92grams. The mass was a supernumerary canine-like tooth. The symptom disappeared after the removal.
