逆生歯牙を核とした鼻石症例

A Case of Rhinolithiasis due to Abnormal Dental Eruption

I．はじめに

　鼻結石の成因の一つには核の存在が必要とされるが，長い年月のうちに吸収されて一見無核のことも多いようである。証明された核としては綿花や紙，植物などが多く，いずれも外因性異物で内因性のものは少ない。今回著者らは鼻腔に逆生，萌出した歯牙を核として結石を生じたきわめてまれな症例を経験し摘出した。その表而および割面の走査電顕的観察とX線マイクロアナライザーによる鼻石の元素分析を行ったので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　A 56-year-old female with a complaint of abnormal sensation of the pharyngolaryngeal region developed rhinolithiasis due to abnormal dental eruption. Similar 2 cases were found in the Japanese literature, and the following characteristics were noted in the present case. Scanning electron microscopic findings of the rhinolithiasis showed concentric laminated structure and coral-like materials. Predominant peaks of P, Ca levels were detected by x-ray microanalyzer. The symptoms were disappeared after its removal, and it was considered that rhinolithiasis produced abnormal sensation of the pharyngolaryngeal region.
