喉頭蓋多形腺腫の1例

A Case of Benign Pleomorphic Adenoma of the Epiglottis

I．はじめに

　多形腺腫は，頭頸部領域においては耳下腺や顎下腺などの大唾液腺に好発する。大唾液腺以外では口腔，咽頭，口唇などの小唾液腺に由来すると思われる報告がみられるが，喉頭原発の報告は極めて稀で，本邦において本症例を含め18例報告されているのみである^1～17）（表1）。

　今回われわれは，喉頭蓋に発生した多形腺腫を直達鏡下に摘出し良好な結果を得たので，文献的考察を含め報告する。

　Pleomorphic adenoma is the most common neoplasm affecting the major salivary glands,however,it is an extremely rare as a laryngeal tumor. A 68-year-old man presented with an one-year's history of a lumpy sensation in his throat and unclear voice.

　Laryngoscopic examination revealed a tumor located in the epiglottis. The tumor was excised successfully under laryngomicrosurgery without laryngeal malfunction. The postoperative course was satisfactory,and the patient has been well without recurrence for over 3 years.
