  • Look Inside

A 76-year-old female presented with blurring of vision in both eyes since 3 days before. Her corrected visual acuity was 0.15 right and 0.1 left. Both eyes showed swelling of optic disc, peripapillary edema and serous retinal detachment in the posterior fundus. Laboratory studies were negative. Macular stellate lesions developed 10 days later, leading to the diagnosis of Leber's idiopathic stellate neuroretinitis. After initial improvement, visual impairment in her right eye recurred 7 months later and that in her left eye 4 years 7 months later. She has been doing well with the visual acuity of 0.8 right and 1.2 left 6 years after initial onset.
