黄斑部浮腫に対するSF6ガス注入療法

Treatment of macular edema by intravitreal injection of sulfur hexafluoride gas

（展示245）　網膜静脈分枝閉塞症または中心性網脈絡膜症に続発した黄斑部浮腫4眼に，SF₆ガスの硝子体内注入を行った。これにより，人工的に後部硝子体を剥離させ，黄斑部を気体で圧迫することを意図した。全例で黄斑部浮腫の軽減と視力の改善が得られた。

We treated 4 eyes of macular edema secondary to branch retinal vein occlusion or central serous chorioretinopathy. The eyes received intravitreal injection of sulfur hexafluoride gas. This approach was intended to detach the posterior vitreous and to create tamponade effect by the gas. All the eyes showed improvement in macular edema and in visual acuity.
