Abstract 文献概要

　走査型レーザー検眼鏡を用いて，緑内障性視神経萎縮18例36眼，非緑内障性視神経萎縮16例32眼における視神経乳頭，篩板孔面積について統計的分析を行った。緑内障性視神経萎縮群の篩板孔の平均面積は2,578.4±1,346.1μm²と拡大していたのに対して，非緑内障性視神経萎縮群の篩板孔の平均面積は334.2±103.2μm²と縮小し，両群とも正常対照と有意差があった。緑内障性視神経萎縮では視野障害の進行に一致して篩板孔面積が拡大した。走査型レーザー検眼鏡と画像解析装置を用いて篩板孔の定量評価を行うことにより，視神経萎縮の原因分析と緑内障性視神経萎縮の重症度の評価が可能となった。

We quantitated the area of the optic disc and lamina cribrosa in 36 eyes with glaucomatous optic atrophy and 32 eyes with nonglaucomatous one. Scanning laser ophthalmoscope with 780nm light and image analyzer were used in the evaluation. The area of lamina cribrosa measured 2,578.4±1,346.1μm² in the former group and 334.2±103.2μm² in the latter. The difference was significant. Both values were significant-ly larger than in normal eyes. The area of lamina cribrosa enlarged along with progression of visual fielddefect in glaucomatous optic atrophy. The present method allows identification of optic atrophy and evaluation of its severity.
