眼科的検診のための仮性同色表

Pseudoisochromatic plates for mass screening

　眼科の第一次検査，健康診断，人間ドックなどにおける視機能スクリーニングのために「標準色覚検査表第3部検診用」（略称SPP-3）を製作した。本表は第1・第2異常（いわゆる先天赤緑異常）と後天性の赤緑異常・青黄異常を検出し，確定診断への指針を与えるものである。

　822例に対する使用経験によると，第1・第2異常もごく軽いもの以外は本表で検出でき，後天異常との鑑別も可能である。したがって，本表は健康診断で現在行われている色覚検査に代わり得る。

　屈折異常や透光体の疾患では色覚異常が少なく，網膜以降の疾患では色覚異常が起こりやすいので，視力と色覚を併せて検査すれば簡便で効率のよい視機能スクリーニングができる。

　A new set of pseudoisochromatic plates for theprimary estimation of visual function was developed as Standard Pseudoisochromatic Plates Part 3for Mass Screening (SPP-3). This set purports todetect all types of color vision defects, either congenital or acquired. Color vision defects occur morefrequently in diseases of the fundus or the opticnerve than in diseases affecting the anterior ocularsegment. By taking account of color vision andvisual acuity, it is possible to assess, to some extent, the site of disorder when detailed ophthalmologicexamination is not available. Examination ofvisual acuity and color vision test with SPP-3 thuspromise to be of value in mass screening of eyedisorders.
