クリスタリン網膜症の姉妹例

Crystalline retinopathy in a pair of female siblings

　クリスタリン網膜症の姉妹例を経験した。症例は52歳と55歳の姉妹で，主訴はそれぞれ左眼変視症と右眼視野異常であった。眼底には，両眼後極部に散在する閃輝性の黄白色結晶様沈着物を認めた。本症の姉妹例は本邦で初めてであり，家族性因子の関与を示唆するものと考えられた。

A 52-year-old female and her sister, aged 55years, manifested typical funduscopic features ofcrystalline retinopathy with white-yellowish glis-tening crystals scattered over the posterior fundusin both eyes. Metamorphopsia was the chief com-plaint in the younger patient and visual field defectin the elder. Occurrence of crystalline retinopathyin a pair of female siblings has not been reported sofar in Japan. The present cases suggest heredo-familial factors in the pathogenesis of this disorder.
