再発性後部強膜炎の1例

A case of recurrent posterior scleritis

（P3-2-18）　60歳女性が左眼瞼腫脹と眼痛で受診した。過去5年間に強膜炎が両眼に反復していた。左眼には胞状の漿液性網膜剥離が下方にあり，超音波検査で眼球後壁が肥厚していた。後部強膜炎と診断した。副腎皮質ステロイド薬のパルス投与と眼球周囲注射で寛解した。長期にわたる再発性の後部強膜炎に対して本治療が有効であった。

A 60-year-old female presented with swelling of left eyelids with ocular pain. She had had recurrent scleritis in both eyes during the foregoing 5 years. The left eye showed bullous serous retinal detachment in the inferior hemisphere. Ultrasonography showed thickened posterior wall of the eye. We diagnosed her as posterior scleritis. Systemic pulse therapy and peribulbar injection of corticosteroid induced remission. This case illustrates the efficacy of this therapeutic modality for recurrent posterior scleritis.
