（C4-2-23）　Laser in situ keratomileusis （LASIK）のフラップの大きさに影響を与える因子として，性別，年齢，術前角膜厚，眼圧，角膜屈折力について検討した。その結果，性別，年齢，術前角膜厚，眼圧とフラップの大きさとは有意な関連はなかったが，角膜屈折力が大きくなるとフラップが大きくなる傾向があった。そのため，角膜屈折力が極端に小さい症例や遠視矯正の場合などは，適当な照射径を確保するために，吸引リングのサイズの選択に注意するべきであると考えられた。

We reviewed 118 eyes which underwent laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) during the past 10 months. The size of the corneal flap was not correlated either with sex, age, intraocular pressure or corneal thickness. There was a tendency for the corneal flap to become larger in eyes with smaller corneal curvature. The findings show the necessity to choose proper suction ring size in eyes with flat cornea or hyperopia in order to obtain adequate ablation zone.
