緑内障日帰り手術の成績

Results of day-surgery for glaucoma

　最近2年間に行った緑内障の日帰り手術と入院手術の成績について比較検討した。日帰りによる緑内障手術は14眼，入院手術は31眼に行われ，手術術式と術後ケアに注意さえすれば術後合併症の頻度と眼圧コントロールは両者の間に有意差がなかった。症例を選べば緑内障手術においても日帰り手術は可能と考えられた。

We reviewed the outcome of surgery for glaucoma in 45 eyes during the past two years. Glaucoma surgery was performed as day-surgery in 14 eyes and as hospitalized procedure in 31 eyes. There were no significant differences in postoperative complications and in the rate of surgical success. The key factors appeared to be adequate selection of surgical method and due postoperative care. Glaucoma surgery on ambulatory basis is a positive alternative for hospitalized surgery.
