Abstract. Purpose:We reviewed the longterm outcome of simultaneous trabeculotomy with sinusotomy,phacoemulsification-aspiration and intraocular lens implantation. Cases and Method:This study was made on 289 eyes of 194 glaucoma patients. The series comprised primary open-angle glaucoma 245 eyes, capsular glaucoma 27 eyes,normal-tension glaucoma 14 eyes, and ocular hypertension 3 eyes. The comparison of preoperative and postoperative intraocular pressure(IOP)was analyzed by using t-test. And the postoperative IOP changes were analyzed by using Kaplan-Meier life-table. Results:Averaged IOP reached the minimum value 6 months after surgery. Averaged IOP was significantly lower than the baseline level and remained between 12 and 13mmHg until 84 months after surgery. At 96 months after surgery, the IOP remained below 18mmHg in 93.9% and below 16mmHg in 73.5% of eyes. Conclusion:The findings show than simultaneous trabeculotomy with sinusotomy,phacoemulsification-aspiration and intraocular lens implantation is very useful for glaucoma eyes target below 16mmHg.
