　走査レーザー検眼鏡（scanning laser ophthalmoscope：SLO） microperimetryを用いて，黄斑円孔患者32名36眼の視野と固視点の特徴について検討した。すべての症例で，黄斑円孔の円孔底に絶対暗点を認めた。また，cuffを形成していたものでは，その領域に一致して比較暗点を認めた。円孔の中心を通る水平面を基準として上方と下方とに分類して検討すると，固視点は右眼では20眼中14眼（70％）が上方に位置し，左眼では16眼中13眼（81％）が上方に位置していた．視力障害を持つ黄斑円孔患者では，手元が見えやすい円孔上方に新たに固視点が生じることが示唆された。SLO microperimetryは，黄斑円孔患者の中心視野および固視点の観察に有用な検査であると考えられた。

We measured the visual field and the point of fixation in 36 eyes with idiopathic macular hole. We used scanning laser ophthalmoscope with attached microperimetric device. All eyes showed absolute scotoma corresponding to the site of macular hole. The area of fluid cuff around the hole showed relative scotomas. The fixation point was located superior to the center of macular hole in 14 of 20 right eyes, 70%, and in 13 of 16 left eyes, 81%. The superior location of fixation point appeared to be useful for the near vision of the affected eyes.
