超音波白内障手術中の縮瞳に対するエピネフリン添加灌流液の効果

Antimiotic effect of epinephrine in the irrigating solution during cataract surgery

　眼灌流液に添加したエピネフリンが超音波白内障手術中の縮瞳に及ぼす効果を84眼について検討した。皮質吸引終了までの縮瞳率は，エピネフリン無添加群では19±18％であった。灌流液に0.2, 0.4，0.6mg／lのエピネフリンを添加した群の縮瞳率は5.3±7.2％，2.2±8.8％，2.5±7.1％で，0.4mg／lおよび0.6mg／lと無添加群との間に有意の差を認めた。

We performed cataract surgery in 84 eyes by phacoemulsification and aspiration technique using irrigating solution with or without epinephrine. The rate of intraoperative decrease in pupil diameter was 19±18% without epinephrine and was 5.3±7.2%, 2.2±8.8% and 2.5±7.1% for epinephrine concentration of 0.2, 0.4 and 0.6mg/l respectively. There was a significant difference between in eyes without epinephrine and in those with 0.4mg/l epinephrine.
