眼窩偽リンパ腫に対するガンマ線照射後に生じた角膜穿孔

Corneal perforation after gamma radiation to pseudolymphoma of the orbit

　77歳男性の右眼窩偽リンパ腫を治療するために，コバルト60遠隔照射装置を用いて放射線治療を行った。総腫瘍線量は40Gyで，20回に分割して32日にわたって照射した。照射終了6か月後に，右眼の角膜穿孔を生じた。角膜の被曝線量は，53Gyと推定できた。眼窩部への放射線照射を計画するにあたっては，角膜の被曝線量が過度にならないように考慮しなければならない。

Pseudolymphoma in the right orbit of a 77-year -old male was treated by radiotherapy with cobalt -60 beam unit. The total dosis of 40 gray was delivered in 20 fractions over 32 days. Spontaneous perforation of the right cornea developed 6 months after end of the radiotherapy. The irradiated dosis to the cornea was estimated to be 53 gray. We advocate due precaution to protect the cornea in applying radiotherapy to orbital lesions.
