I．緒言
眼窩偽腫瘍に関しては古来多くの研究がなされ種々論議された処であるが，今日術，その疾患の原因及びその本態に関して定説がない。我々は高度のEosinophylie，中等度の眼球突出を有し，治療として副腎皮質ホルモン（プレドニゾロン）が奏効した興味ある眼窩炎性偽腫瘍の一例を経験したので文献的考察と併せて眼窩偽腫瘍とは如何なる疾患であるのか再検討してみたいと思う。
抑々眼窩炎性偽腫瘍（以下E．P．T．）とはその名の示す如く眼窩に出来た腫瘍状の臨床症状を呈するものであるが，勿論真性腫瘍ではなく，眼窩結核腫，ゴム腫等の特異性炎性疾患及び白血病等の全身疾患の一分症として眼窩に発症したものを除き，尚他に適当な名称のないものを一括して総称した名称であると解釈されている。
The etiology of orbital pseudotumor has not been clarified inspite of many investigations and studies. A case report on orbital inflammatory pseudotumor with extreme eosinophilia and exophthalmus, which was treated very satisfactorily with adrenocortical hormones, is presented with bibriographic considerations.
1) Many of orbital inflammatory granuloma and orbiral inflammatory pseudotumors are considered to be allergic.
2) Orbital nonspecific inflammatory preudotumor belong to different categories.
