　結晶状角膜ジストロフィの3症例を報告した。症例1は針状の結晶で構成された円盤状の混濁，症例2は結晶のない円盤状の混濁，症例3は針状の結晶で構成された輪状の混濁であった。症例1,2は母子例で，家族歴から常染色体優性遺伝と推定した。血漿中の脂質濃度が上昇している症例はなかった。症例3の両眼に全層角膜移植術を行い角膜片を組織化学的に検索した結果，角膜実質とボーマン膜にコレステロールの結晶が証明された。

We observed crystalline corneal dystrophy of Schnyder in 3 cases : a male, his mother and another female aged 26, 58 and 18 years respective-ly. In the first case, the corneal opacity was disc -shaped and was composed of innumerable small bright crystals in the form of needles. The corneal opacity in the second was disc shaped and amor-phous without crystals. In the third, the corneal opacity was ring shaped and was composed of crystals. Hyperlipemia was absent in the 3 cases. The third case was treated by penetrating kerato-plasty in both eyes. Cholesterol crystals were pre-sent in the Bowman's membrane and corneal stroma.
