A 60-year-old male presented with branch retinal vein occlusion in his right eye. A band-shaped choroidal atrophy was also seen involving the macula towards the inferior periphery in the same eye. The finding was compatible with those of triangular syndrome. Sporadic patches of retinalpigment epithelium were seen in his left eye. As occlusion of posterior ciliary artery is the presumed cause of triangular syndrome, the affected eye seemed to be predisposed to choroidal and retinal vascular occlusions.
