長崎大学眼科25年間にみられた脂腺癌について

Review of 21 cases of sebaceous adenocarcinoma in Nagasaki University over a 25-year period

　長崎大学眼科で経験した脂腺癌21例を臨床病理学的に検討した．脂腺癌，基底細胞癌，扁平上皮癌の組織標本での鑑別点を記載した．脂肪染色が重要と思われた．臨床所見は諸家の報告と大差がなかった．

We reviewed a consecutive series of 21 cases of sebaceous adenocarcinoma seen in our department over a period of 25 years through 1986. The seriesincluded 7 males and 14 females, with ages ranging from 40 to 78 years, average 65 years. The tentative pathological diagnosis was sebaceous adenocar-cinoma 8 cases, squamous cell carcinoma 7, basal cell carcinoma 4, metatypical carcinoma 2 and carcinoma 1. Fat stains were often crucial in the final diagnosis of sebaceous adenocarcinoma. Clini-cal findings in the present series were essentially similar to those reported in literature.
