  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

We observed bilateral drusen of the optic nerve head in two cases. The first case, a 34-year-old male, present-ed with unilateral visual field loss. The fluorescein angiogram showed characteristic autofluorescence of the disc drusen. The second case, a 62-year-old male, was initially diagnosed as bilateral papilledema on account of gradually failing vision, unilateral visual field loss and typical fundus findings. No intracranial lesions were detected by thorough neurological exami-nations. Six years later, funduscopy revealed prominent drusen located on the atrophic disk bilaterally. The visual fiel loss had progressed further during the inter-vening period.
