ぶどう膜炎患者のEpstein-Barrウイルス抗体価

Epstein-Barr virus-specific antibodies in patients with uveitis

　京大病院眼科ぶどう膜炎外来に通院中の前部ぶどう膜炎患者29名，全ぶどう膜炎患者40名（Behget病患者17名，　Vogt—小柳—原田病患者11名，分類不能の全ぶどう膜炎患者12名）および，年齢の対応する対照健康人144名について，Epstein-Barr （EB）ウイルス抗体価を測定した。抗Viro-Capsid-Antigcn，抗Early-Antigen抗体の出現に関しては，ぶどう膜炎患者群と対照健康人群とでは差がなかった。しかし，抗体価上昇例（抗体価≧160）出現率，および抗体価の幾何平均とも，前部ぶどう膜炎患者群では対照健康人群よりp＜0.01で，全ぶどう膜炎患者群よりp＜0.001で有意に高値を示した。EBウイルスに対する免疫反応において，前部ぶどう膜炎患者と全ぶどう膜炎患者とは，全く異なった抗体パターンを示したことから，両者の間には単に解剖学的病巣ばかりでなく，免疫応答にも相異があるのではないかと考えられた。

We evaluated the antibody titers specific for Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) in 29 patients with anterior uveitis, 40 with pan-uveitis including 17 with Behcet disease, 11 with Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada disease and 12 with unclassified pan-uveitis and 144 age-matched controls. The frequencies of anti-viro-capsid-antigen (VCA) in uveitis and controls were similar. Patients with anterior uveitis showed siginificantly higher value in the frequency of sera with elevated titers (≧160) and in the geometric mean titer of anti-VCA than controls (p<0.01) and patients with pan- uveitis (p<0.001).
